I realized my love for hockey in sixth grade, the first time I hit the ice with my middle school team. Ever since then I have looked forward to every session on the ice weather it's a practice, a game, or a lesson. My personality on and off the ice are very similar: a team player who never gives up. Starting in 6th grade was a challenge, I had to work twice as hard to catch up to my peers and earn my spot. I am a strong two way player and emphasis the importance of the forecheck and backcheck.
Beyond my love for hockey, I enjoy baking, fishing, being in nature, hanging out with my friends, and watching HGTV to think up home improvement projects. My life goal is to design my own house on the water and be able to watch the sunrise and set every day from the porch. Continuing my hockey career to the collegiate level is the first step in this process so I can play the sport I love as well as earn a quality education necessary to achieve my goal. I know this will not be a walk in the park; I have always been a hard worker and will continue to work until I achieve my goals. I am prepared to give every ounce of effort towards furthering my career and I hope you will give me a chance to do so. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me better, and I hope to be in touch.
