My goal right now is to get on a Women's Division III hockey team at a school that I know I will be happy at athletically and academically. I couldn't see myself living without hockey and I know I have what it takes to play Division III hockey. I have always played boys hockey, which makes it more difficult for me to be noticed by recruiters, but I know that once I get some exposure to college coaches, they will be impressed with the high level I am playing at. My high school team plays in what is usually cosidered the best high school division in the state, and includes schools like Saint Ignatius, Saint Edward, and University School. I hope that soon I will be noticed by many college coaches and find a great school to attend next fall.
