My friends and family have influenced me to be the leader and role-model I am today. I became extremely interested in hockey as a small child. I live in a big hockey family that is highly passionate for the sport. Through hockey, I have learned what you put into something, is what you get out of it. I have also learned, hard work, a good effort and, a positive attitude will lead you toward success, allowing you to conquer your goals. Playing college hockey has always been the biggest goal of mine. I hope for my college years to be a period of tremendous growth. I have not decided what I want to be when I’m out of college but engineering has always been something that has interested me. On the rink, I plan to be a positive influence and a dynamic player on the team. As I continue to improve myself mentally and physically as a player, I strive to push myself to be the best player and teammate of my capability. Most importantly, I will proceed with both respect and honor, on and off the ice, knowing the way I portray myself reflects on my coaches, my team, the school I attend and my community.
