Personal Statement
One of the greatest moments of my ice hockey career occurred during my sophomore season. My team had lost in the Final game of the LCMGHL Playoffs for two consecutive years, and we came ready to finally win. I was able to help my team win in every way. Not only did we take home medals, we took home a new sense of confidence and hope.
I tried to be as positive in the locker room as possible before the tournament. I'm extremely proud of the way my team has come together and the way we were able to make our goal happen. This experience helped to shape the way I play and the love I have for the game because I realized I can do anything I put my mind to. I learned that I am a strong person, and a strong player.
