I am currently a Sophmore at Dowling Catholic High School in West Des Moines, Iowa. I have a cumulative GPA of 4.16. I am thinking of studying either Actuarial Science or Engineering. I am involved in many school activities including cross country and art club. I also stay active in my community with 100+ service hours.
I am currently a goaltender for the Des Moines Capitals (AA boys high school team) which competes in the Midwest High School Hockey Leauge (MHSHL). I am the first girl to make one of the 2 competitive teams in this leauge in my area. I also played many JV games and a few varsity games throughout this past season. My goal is to play competitive college hockey.
I feel like I would be an asset to many teams with my competitive and determined nature, my grades, and my ability to play the wonderful game of hockey. Although I stand tall at 5'4, I play aggressive and hold my own in the net.
