Dear Coach,
I was introduced to the game of golf by my dad at the age of four. My interest was sparked to play competitively when I joined the LPGA girls golf program at Dana Rader Golf Academy at the age of 10. I continue to learn to appreciate the game of golf and the many life lessons that it teaches me about becoming a better person. My freshman year I was a one woman golf team at Carmel Christian High School. I qualified for the NC State Championship as an individual and finished 18th out of 60 girls. I believe my ability to play golf is a God given talent.
Goals for high school and college are to achieve to my academic potential and balance it with my golf practice and play schedule. Unique characteristics about me is my sweet personality, Christlike heart, team player, and competitive, steady spirit on and off the course. I enjoy helping children learn about the game of golf through the First Tee Program of Charlotte. An accomplishment I experienced in 2016 was making it to the regionals at Pinehurst #2, for the Drive Chip and Putt competition. I know that you as my coach will impact me for a lifetime and I hope that you will consider me for your golf team.
