I was first introduced to golf at a local summer camp at the age of 11 and I immediately fell in love with the sport. The following summer I was determined to learn the game as quickly as possible and at the age of 12 actually played my first round of 18 holes at a PGA junior tournament. I am a very dedicated golfer and have improved each year, winning more tournaments each consecutive year. I believe I have a great temperament for golf, as I consider myself calm, patient and collected. As a student athlete, I want to expose my sport to more young ladies. I am currently teaching and mentoring golf to young girls at my local youth camp and it has been very rewarding. My greatest goal is to play golf at the collegiate level. Afterwards, I wish to be involved in golf in some capacity and hope to make a positive contribution to the sport for the rest of my life.
