Chloe LaVelle '12 Recruiting Profile

In the fall I am going to be entering my senior year at Patchogue-Medford High School, where I am ranked in the top two percent of my class. Every spring of my high school career I have been a part of the Girls Varsity Golf Team. After playing competitively for my first time, it hit me how much I really enjoyed playing, and, how I would love to further pursue playing golf. Although I am fairly new to the sport I am dedicated and I work hard to compete with the best and be the absolute best that I could be. Winning all-leagues and being a participant in the county championships last season for my school was a major accomplishment and confidence booster for myself. Since the season I have played in tournaments and leagues all around Long Island, where I have won longest drive, lowest-net score, and league champion. I am looking into the field of biomedical engineering; the size and location of a school is not an issue for me. My main desires when looking at a school is the clarity of the educational programs and the division of the women's golf team (preferably II or III).
