I started playing golf when I was 10 years old. Since that time I have learned that success is not always guaranteed, that it does not always come when you expect it to, or just because you believe it should. It takes hard work and sacrifice. There are no short cuts and no-one you compete against is going to hand you anything. I embrace this challenge and it drives me to seek constant improvement in my golf game.
Success comes naturally for me in the classroom. I relish the role of being a student athlete and the challenge it presents at expecting the best of yourself both in school and on the golf course. I am fortunate to attend a great school and to have the opportunity to learn from great teachers. I have also been able to learn from elite local and national golf instructors to help me build on my strengths and identify and improve on my weaknesses.
I know that I will be a great asset to a competitive collegiate golf program. I have excellent swing fundamentals, take instruction well, and have a great work ethic. I am calm under pressure and will bring consistency and great growth potential to any team. I know that I will excel at being a student-athlete. I look forward to join a program that will benefit from my talent and character and challenge me achieve greater academic and athletic success.
