Megan Propeck: sw...Personal Statement
I am 15 years old and I am a freshman in high school at Notre Dame de Sion. I live in Leawood, KS, and I have been playing competitive golf with high school girls in my area and the midwest for 4 years. At my country club, I volunteer to help in the junior golf program while also teaching some young kids how to play. It has always been my dream of playing college golf and later play on the LPGA. My scoring average is 76 and my handicap is a +2.5. On the academic side, I my GPA is a 4.36 and I take 5 honors classes Through my scores on standardized testing at my school, I was eligible for the Duke TIP program to take the ACT or SAT. I took the SAT in 7th grade and scored the same as the average junior in high school. All in all, I would love to play college golf for a school that fits my academic and golf ambitions. I love playing team golf through my high school, and I am really looking forward to my journey playing college golf.
