I am a 5’ 10” sophomore from North Easton, Massachusetts. My school, Oliver Ames, does not have a girl’s golf team, so I play on the Varsity Boys team. I was the only girl to try-out and, and the only freshman to play Varsity. Our team went 16-0 and won the South Sectional Championships. I continued to play varsity basketball and varsity tennis throughout freshmen and sophomore year while maintaining high grades in all honors and AP classes.
I am a determined and hard-working individual. I’m comfortable in pressure situations, and thrive on competition. I’m looking for a school where I can be challenged both in the classroom and on the golf course. My parents were collegiate athletes, and reflect positively on the impact that college sports had on their personal and professional lives. I’d like to be part of an institution where athletes are as passionate about their sport as they are their academic careers.
