Annabelle Mozingo '22 Recruiting Profile

     My dad and I have been going to hit balls at driving range since I was three. At the age of seven, we started playing nine holes together. Over the next few years, my skills improved vastly. In 2014, I started to play in junior tournaments. By this point I knew that my goal, which is playing on an excellent collegiate golf team, isn’t too far off in the future. I continue to work on my swing even in the colder months. To make sure I stay fit and don’t lose my swing speed over the winter, I spend time at the gym. I also put the working out to use on my swing, since there is a indoor practice facility that I go to two to three times a week.  I believe that I have higher skill level than my handicap might say. I reached my goal of breaking eighty over the fall of 2017 when I shot a 74 in a US Kids Golf tournament. My hope is that I end up in a incredible college that will have memories that will last a lifetime. I also want to go to a college that has a great academic structure that will push me. Also, wherever I may end up, I strive to be a role model to those around me on the course and in the classroom.
