I started playing golf freshman year of high school. I tried out just for fun and ended up making Varsity as a freshman. After freshman year, my goal was to play the number one spot on Varsity. I achieved this goal when I played number one throughout my whole sophomore season. I continued to play number one through junior year. I took 2nd place in Conference sophomore and junior year. Advanced to Regionals and Sections freshman, sophomore, and junior year. I was voted Most Valuable player in 2011 and 2012 at Plainfield South High School. I participated in the PGA Ryder Cup Skills Challenge, which was held at Mistwood Golf Club and Catigny Golf Club. After winning both events, I advanced to the finals at Medinah Country Club. There, I took 3rd Place. My goal for senior year is to continue to work hard on improving my game so I have an opportunity to advance to the State finals and play college golf.
