I grew up on a golf course and competed in my first 1 hole tournament at the age of 4 .I am a good student with a gpa of 3.8, but haven't made up my mind about the exact major I'd like to pursue. I am the first girl in my high school ever to make it to state as a freshman. I won the Regional Tournament shooting 83. In my sophomore year I shot an 83 at sectionals and had to compete in a 2 hole playoff with 2 other competitors to advance to state, where after the first day I was tied for 2nd place by shooting 81. As a junior, I was MVP on the boys team, an all state golfer and finished in Tenth place, the highest finish in our schools girls program history. I have won junior all city titles in almost every age division. This year I played in the Illinois Women's Amateur and made the championship flight. I played in the Illinois Junior State Amateur and took 3rd place overall with a one over par total score. I won Galesburg Junior 2 day Open tournament (with scores of 74/72 (+1) Galesburg Junior Girls Tournament 73/75/78 (+8), Soangetaha Ladies Championship 2 day total of (+6), and Soangetaha Junior Girls Club Championship . At the Country Youth Classic tournament, I tied for 3rd place . I won medalist or comedalist in all but one 9 hole match this high school season. I was second overall at the Macomb Invitational 18 hole tournament, and third overall in the Galesburg Invitational meet. I won REGIONALS with a one over par (73). I also won the SECTIONAL tournament in a one hole playoff . AT Illinois High School State finals, I finished in 10th place again. All State girls golf team. I want to continue to play at the collegiate level and be competitive.
