Danielle Roulo '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Danielle Roulo and I am a senior at Prairie Ridge High School in Crystal Lake, Illinois. I have played varsity golf in all four years of high school. This past season I competed as either the #1, 2 or 3 player on my team. My current handicap is 7. My current GPA is 2.80/4.00 and my class rank is 270/406. I would like to pursue my goal of playing collegiate golf and am committed to improving my skills and lowering my handicap/scoring average. I have a passion for the game of golf and love competing on the golf course, both individually and as part of a team. At this time, I am undecided on a major, but I am looking forward to competing at the college level and am focused on finding the right combination of a quality education, a comfortable academic and social environment and the chance to contribute to a golf program early in my college career. I am open to different sizes of schools, geographic locations and what division they compete in. This past season (2012) our team was Conference and State Tournament Regional Champions, and qualifed for the State Finals, finshing in 8th place. We also won the Marian Central Catholic Invitational Tournament. Individually, I was 5th place medalist in the Conference Championship, 4th place medalist in the State Regional Tournament and tied for 1st place medalist (74) in the Marian Central Catholic Invitational Tournament. I earned All Conference and All Area (2nd team) honors. I also competed in the McHenry County Junior Golf Association season long competition, finshing 1st and was awarded the girl's senior division golfer of the year. 2011 accomplishments included being 4th place medalist in my conference championship, earning All-Conference and All-Area (Honorable Mention) honors and being the 2nd place medalist (79) in the Marian Central Catholic Invitational Tournament. Our team was a state sectional qualifier. I again competed in the McHenry County Junior Golf Association season long competition, finishing as the overall points leader and was named girl's senior division golfer of the year. As part of that competition I won the girl's senior division of the McHenry Cty Jr Amateur, shooting 76. I also competed in several Illinois Jr Golf Association events. In my sophomore year (2010) I was the 3rd place medalist in my conference championship, earning All-Conference and All-Area (second team) honors, was an individual state sectional qualifier and named a team MVP. I also won the McHenry County Junior Golf Association gir's junior (ages 13-15) division golfer of the year.
