My name is Chelsea Ficklin, and I will graduate in 2013 from Santa Cruz CA. I have been playing golf since 7th grade, and I have always aspired to be a better player, carrying my competitive spirit over from other sports I've played. After my first high school golf match I have worked toward competing at the collegiate level.
I have chosen to devote my sports energy into my golf game, and I have already grown a lot as a player. I have been playing in tournaments, and am really enjoying the challenge. My goal is to shoot below 80 consisitently.
I am an honor roll student at Santa Cruz High School and have taken Honors American Literature as well as AP US History, and Spanish. My future career aspirations include Pre-Medicine, Nursing, or Biological Sciences.
I am open-minded as to where I attend college, and I am ultimately searching for a school that supports my future career goals. I would love to be a part of a college that combines energetic school spirit, and has solid academics. It is my dream to play college golf for a competetive team where I can help build and maintain a successful team and continue to grow as an individual player.
