From the time I could starting walking on my own, I was always going, going, going. Whether I was climbing the tallest tree that I could find or I was swimming from morning to night, I've always been that kid who has to be doing something fun at all times. When I wasn't running around, I would think about what I was going to do when I got older, where would I go, what would I do, how would I do it and as I've developed more and more into the person I am today those questions have only became more real to me. When I ask myself those questions I know that I want to go to college, become a nurse and travel around the world to help anyone that I can and I can't say exactly where I would like to go to college because there's so many options available to me.
I started playing golf around the age of 14 and before that day I had never even touched a club, but I knew very early on as I first started to take lessons and learn about the sport that I was hooked. My game sky-rocked as I continued to practice, I went from shooting a 72 for nine holes on my first tryout for my high school team to shooting in the mid-50s at the end of my first year on my high school team. From that first season I quickly found out that golf was my passion in life, of course I had some bad days and then some even worse days but when I had those amazing days, the horrible days were worth it. Not only did my knowledge of golf expand but I learned many things about myself in the process, I love playing with a team, I love winning and doing good but I realized doing bad is okay too because I get to pick up not only myself but also my team members and I get look forward to the next day so we can do better. I learned to become patient, more outgoing and I've only built more leadership qualities. Since my first high school year, I've continued on with my golf career, participating in a local golf association to play in more tournaments, playing in summer junior leagues hosted by local golf courses, and playing on my high school team. I believe that I am a good candidate for your team because I know what it's like to lose and to be beaten down by others, but I know what it's like to win and to be one of the best and all these things just inspire me more and more to get better. I want to play in college, be on a team and compete against others because that's what I love and it's what I'm passionate about.
