I love golf. I love the challenge of the game; the mental and physical aspect of the game that requires consistent practice and focus. The camaraderie of the team that, through good days and bad days on the course or off, are there to pick you up when you’re feeling down or celebrate with you. I played for two and a half years at California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB), and that’s the part that I miss the most, my teammates. I took a year off of school because I had bitten off more than I could chew; I was a full time student, full time barista at Starbucks, and a full time athlete. In my time off I played a little golf here and there, but nothing competitive. Now I am back at school at a junior college, Monterey Peninsula College, focusing on getting my AA in Communication Studies.
