Darby Twight '17 Recruiting Profile

 Starting my freshman year, I began golfing on my high school's varsity golf team. After a short period of time playing golf I caught the 'bug'! I couldn't get enough of it! Since then I have applied myself both physically and mentally in hopes of one day becoming a collegiate golfer. Since freshman year, I have demonstrated the kind of commitment and work ethic needed in order to drop my scores 10-12 strokes each season. I still have more improvements to make, but I know I have the potential to lower my scores further. 

In addition to my athletics, I am also very focused on my education. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my whole high school career and I am currently ranked number one in my class. I take Honors, AP, and community college classes throughout the school year. My success athletically and academically shows important traits of mine that would be invaluable for a collegiate golf team, and for improving my individual game. I hope to fit the qualifications for your golf program!
