My name is Jaden Kelley and I am a current junior at Whitnall High School in Greenfield Wisconsin. I live with my mom, my two younger sisters and my dog. When I am not playing basketball I love to do arts and crafts, play volleyball, go for runs with my dog, and I also really enjoy playing and caring for young kids including my little sisters.
I started playing the game of basketball in 5th grade for my school's select team. In high school I was hesitant to play, because I thought my height would set me back, I was wrong. As a freshman I was a starter on JV. The summer going into my sophomore year I decided to play my first year of AAU for CBA, a team out of Pewaukee. I came back a better player in all aspects of my game. This past year I ended the season as a varsity starter averaging nine points a game, and earning myself All Conference Honorable Mention. In March 2016 I began playing for Wisconsin Playground Elite, a traveling blue star national team. This summer I am looking forward to getting better in all aspects of my game, because there is always room for improvement. I am a fun loving and enthusiastic person on and off the court, and enjoy taking on leadership roles that I have been assigned. I believe that I bring a positive vibe to my team and everybody around me, and I hope to continue doing this in my college years.
After highschool I plan to go into the medical field, undecided on what major I want to pursue. Playing collegiate basketball has always been a dream of mine, and every day I work hard and dedicate myself to improving my athletic and academic abiliities.
