My name is Adriana Plavsic and I am currently attending Brookfield East High School in Brookfield, Wisconsin. It has always been my dream to play at the collegiate level since I can remember. I have always thought of basketball as something more than just a sport you play. Basketball has taught me life lessons that have shaped me into the person I am today. Many coaches and players believe I have what it takes to play at the next level. I have been practicing extremely hard these past few summers attending 1 on 1 workouts, camps, strength workouts and open gyms. Whenever I step on the court I strongly believe in playing like it is my last. I never want to feel as if I did not push myself as hard as I possibly could in whatever it is that I am doing whether it be academics or sports. I am willing to do whatever it takes to play at the college level. However, academics always come first because I value the importance of getting a education. Currently I hold a 3.9 grade point average as a Junior playing on the Varsity Basketball team. I have strong relationships with many coaches because I believe every person can teach me something different. One of my strongest skills that I have is that I am coach-able. Coaches also tell me that I have great court presence. I feel I have a great basketball IQ and I love to defend. My main focus each and every day is to live life to the fullest. I work hard in everything that I do and keep an open mind. I am continuing to improve my game each and everyday in the hopes that I will be able to play at the next level. I am excited to see what the future holds.
