Michael Poker '20 Recruiting Profile

I am committed to reaching my potential on the basketball court through hard work.  I am driven by competition.  My focus on the court , as a point guard, is to make my teammates better in order to achieve team success.  For my entire basketball career I have played up in age.  As a freshman in highschool I played varsity basketball at the division 1 level.  I played approximately 30 minutes a game.  Through determination and intelligence I am able to compete against bigger older players.  I welcome responsibility on and off the court and thrive in pressure situations.  Off the court I have implemented a rigorous weight lifting program and studied the game.  It is my desire to play college basketball at a top academic institution.
