My future goals include getting a scholarship to play the game I love and getting the education needed to be successful in my preferred profession. Basketball is very important to me but my education comes first. I believe that my passion, determination and work ethic towards basketball and school set me apart from the rest. Responsibility and discipline are factors that have been strengthened due to having to manage my schedule with basketball and my education. As a point guard my IQ for the game stands out along with my vision of the court. My intelligence on defense, leadership, shooting range from the three point line, and speed are other strengths of mine. I continue to work on my basketball skills and physical strengths on a daily basis.
Through this sport I have learned that no goal is reached without hard work and in order to be better than those around you, you must outwork. While conquering many obstacles I have grown mentally stronger and have gained more respect for the game. I became interested in the game of basketball at a fairly young age and started playing as soon as possible. I've loved the game ever sense. Through the years I've learned that I crave hard work and my mental toughness puts me up and above other athletes. My academic goals for high school is to graduate at the top of my class with an advanced diploma and have a head start into college. My academic goals for college include averaging A's and B's and after graduation, going back to school to get a higher diploma.
