Randi Osborne '21 Recruiting Profile

  My aspiration is to be the greatest player that I am capable of.  What separates me from other talented basketball players is my aggressive, yet motivated style of playing. I am passionate for the sport of basketball, as it is not only a sport for me, but a lifestyle. I am an encouraging and uplifting teammate on and off the court. I have been playing basketball for close to 9 years now,  as well as several other sports. I have a background of soccer; however, I am not currently playing.  While basketball is my greatest passion and main focus, I have also been playing volleyball for the past year and a half. 

    The most important aspects of my life are faith, family, education, and basketball. Not only am I doing what I love, but I am also extremely excited and energetic for these next few years of my career. Although I am looking forward to my future,  my past is what has led me to this point of success in my life. I was blessed by having parents, grandparents, and many other family members who have either played, coached, or been involved in basketball. They are very supportive of my desire to play at the next level.  

     On top of basketball, I also have a strong passion for education. I hold a 4.0 GPA as an upcoming freshman. I work hard in the classroom, as well as on the court. My heart is set on majoring in human sciences, human physiology, chemistry, and biology in order to work towards medical school admission. I would like to eventually specialize as an pediatric orthopedic surgeon.

    My collegiate goals, as a 2021 graduate, are to play basketball at the next level and be academically successful. Fortunately, my travel coaches, high school coaches, teachers and family members have helped me tremendously throughout this journey and I look forward to my future as a college basketball player.
