For as long as I can remember I have loved basketball. It gives me a feeling I can't describe when I play. I have faced hardships with the sport though. One being not making varsity my freshmen year. I worked hard and gave it all I had to make it my sophomore year. Unfortunately, I tore my ACL. I didn't want that to stop me. I spent hours in the gym working hard and getting better. I came back my junior year to shock people, even my coaches. My goal is to continue working hard and getting better. To continue to learn and love the game. I would like to play overseas hopefully in the future. I am a good candidate because I love working hard. I'm also a team player. Yes, I can score and do the things I need to do, but it's not all about me. I've learned you need everyone on the team to make it work. I also know the game. I don't have to be taught. I know what to do and when. My high-school coach taught me that hard work pays off. I spend 2-3 times a day in the gym. I know after high-school I will not be ready to give my love for this game up. I am ready to do what it takes to make it.
