Diamond Mcdowell '21 Recruiting Profile

I want to be remember as a athlete and a person with good character. I like to help others and I''m very passionate about my academic career. I play various sports including volleyball, basketball, track and soccer.  I give 100% effort in all the sports I play! I know its important to have balance which means I can enjoy life as well as know when its time to be serious and get down to business. I love to EAT mostly healthy things like veggies, fruit (MANGO is my favorite) and drink plenty of WATER (Hydration is very important).  I like fashion, my style is unique; girly with a sprinkle of athletic. What makes me different from other candidates is I'm very much a team player sometimes putting my own shine on the back burner for the team. I know its important as a leader to lead in a way that  others want to follow you. I'm very happy and outgoing. I like being around others. I'm a Christian and put God first! I love my family and very close to them! I started taking high school courses in eighth grade and I"m currently enrolled in the Asheboro Early College Academy. If I continue on this track I will have a Associate Degree in addition to my High School Diploma upon graduation. My goals are to continue with my education upon High School Graduation. I want to get an degree in Kinesiology. I aspire to travel more and continue to help people.
