Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Shaina Iton. I am a senior at Peekskill High School located in Peekskill, New York. I am 6-feet tall and weigh 145 lbs. My team and I are the 2010-2011 NYS Class A State Champions. We are also the Slam Dunk Champions for 2010-2011. Things I can offer to a team include motivation and leadership. I have a very strong passion for basketball and playing in college is apart of my plan to success. In the future, I plan on majoring in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on Biomechamics. I would prefer to stay on the East Coast for school, hopefully near or in New York. I am open to any sized campus and division level. The goals I have set for myself in college are to play at the highest competition level possible and also to start receiving playing time as a sophomore. Thank you very much for your time!
