I began playing basketball at the age of 5. My father coached varsity boys basketball and I attended every practice and sat on the bench during every game. At a very early age I knew I really enjoyed playing basketball. It wasn't until the last 3 years I became very serious about improving and dedicating myself to getting better every day. Last year as a Freshman I was able to play an important role on my varsity team. This helped me prepare for this season and take on a leadership role even though I am only a Sophomore. My varsity coach, other coaches and family have high expectations for me. I strive to fulfill them and have the highest expectations for myself. I want to improve as a student athlete throughout the next three years of high school. I am currently a 90+ student. I challenge myself on a daily basis in school and in the gym. I will continue to do so to make sure that I maximize my talent. My goal is to find a college that would be able to utilize my talent to help better their team. I aspire to be the best student and athlete I can be. Currently I am undecided as to what I would like to major in during college. At this time I am leaning towards studying law and possibly law enforcement.
