Emma Klis '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emma Klis and I am a senior  at  Elwood-John Glenn High School. I have been on the varsity team since eighth grade and we have a record of 90-17 in that time. We have played in some big games over the past four years and we have won three League Titles, (2)  Suffolk County Class "A" Championships, (1)  Long Island Class "A" Championship, and have been apart of the New York State Final Four.  Individually, I have won All-League in the past three years and this year, as junior co-captain, I was named All League and All-Conference. Also, I was selected to the 2012 New York State Sports Writers All State 9th Team in Class "A".  I work hard on the court and off the court while maintaining a 3.2 GPA. I have great court vision and basketball IQ. I am a very good outside shooter and I play each possession with intensity.  I look to be a major contributor that will help my college team win games and represent our school on and off the court with integrity and pride.

2013 Class "A" Section 11 All League and All County

April 1, 2013, Named NY State Sports Writers Association All State 5th team.
