I started playing basketball at age 9. Since then I have focused on developing my basketball skills and abilities. I played modified and league basketball until eighth grade. That year I played freshman basketball. In my freshman year I played at the JV level and then in tenth grade I tried out and made the varsity team. During my junior year, my team went to the league sectional. At that game I won MVP. My team went on to state championships, where we lost in the last few minutes of the game. At each level, I have always tried to be an asset to my team. Being a tall girl brings expectations with it. Therefore, it is always my goal to exceed those expectations, and be a true force, no matter how much playing time I get.
I hope to follow in my Father's footsteps and become a college athlete. I want to play basketball at the next level. I want to continue getting stronger, quicker, and increase my basketball IQ. In college, my goal is to acquire a Master's Degree in either Elementary Education, or Mathematics Education. After college I would like to be a teacher. I like to work with kids. I want to be a part of educating future generations.
