I have loved the game of basketball for as long as I can remember. It has introduced me to some of my best friends and taught me important life lessons that can be applied on and off the court. Through basketball, I have learned the value of leadership. Every team needs a confident leader to guide them. On my teams, I am the strong, confident voice pushing my teammates to victory. I also lead by example. My competitive drive and focus, positive attitude, outstanding athleticism, and tireless work ethic allow me to outwork my opponents and inspire my teammates. My goal for my basketball career is to play at a Division 1 college where I can continue to elevate my skills, while getting a great education.
In addition to basketball, I devote much of my time to academics. As a straight A student for my entire life, my goal is to hold no less than a 4.0 GPA throughout my high school and college careers. By working hard both in the classroom and on the court, I am preparing myself for the next level. I am determined to do everything I can to earn a spot at a high academic Division 1 school.
