One of my major goals is to get into a good college and get a good education. I would really like to use my athletic ability to help me make my college experience fulfilled. I would also love to play for a coach that I can keep learning and growing from on and off the basketball court. I believe that character is important and I want to play for a university that prides itself with good morals and values.
I will be a good candidate for your team because I will work hard to make myself and the team very successful. My academics are very important to me which means I will stay committed to success off the court just as much as on the court. I've always been told by my soccer and basketball coaches that I am a coachable player because whenever they tell me to do something differently I always try, work hard, and check back with them on how I am doing.
I am unique from other athletes because aside from my athletics I have also been involved in the piano and violin my whole life. I am active in my church with music and volunteering. I have had the very fortunate opportunity to travel to many different destinations around the world. This has helped me learn about different cultures and has given me a different perspective on life. My family has also hosted many different foreign exchange students. I think that is a big part of me because it has taught me how to love and accept people different from myself. Outside of organized school sports I have played on competitive teams that have helped me develop into a stronger athlete by competing against some of the best teams and athletes in the state of Minnesota. As important as it is for me to be successful in life, I also think that it is very important to help others become the best person they can be.
