Julia Cafferty '20 Recruiting Profile

I have played basketball since the age of 9. I have played travel since the 6th grade and was part of a team that won the River Valley Championship through Tewksbury basketball.  As a sophomore I was selected to play at the varsity level.  Last season on JV as a freshman I was the top scorer across the whole team.  This season I am also coaching a 1st grade basketball team. I currently have a 4.17/4.5 GPA while taking Honors Courses.  I am currently a member of DECA along with a class Rep for the class of 2020.  I am a hard working person both academically and athletically currently in my Sophomore year at Tewksbury High school in Tewksbury MA.  I am a two sport varsity athlete.  Sports have taught me; time management, goal setting, teamwork, & commitment to name a few life lessons. I am looking for a college that best fits me academically and athletically.

I have worked very hard as a student to prepare for college and I have worked very hard to continuously improve and grow my basketball game. If the past is any indicator of the future, I hope that you will see that I have the drive and ability to succeed at the next level both as a student and as an athlete. It is my goal to continue to play basketball at the collegiate level.

I have been playing AAU basketball since I was 10 years old.  My 8th grade and freshman years I played in for Huskies, Warriors in Merrimack Valley.
