I started playing basketball when I was 10 years old, in the fourth grade. I played the point guard position from fourth grade through seventh grade, then transitioned to a flex 4 position starting in eighth grade because of my height. I love the game of basketball and have aspirations of playing at the collegiate level. I love being with my team and creating a special bond and chemistry that no one else would understand. I know playing at the college level is a privilege. I would appreciate and work hard to achieve my college education goals and play basketball, as it is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I have a high basketball IQ, and am increasing my confidence in my scoring ability. I play solid defense and can handle the ball and see the court with a good instinct. I would help bring up my teammates if they are ever down on themselves and would give it my all during practice and game time. I am very coachable and am and will work hard to improve my game as well as push my teammates to excel.
Academically, I have completed my freshman year of high school and am taking AP Government my sophomore year to push myself academically. I am looking for a college that will give me the opportunity to play basketball and receive an education that will get me to veterinarian school.
I would love to have a coach who loves the game, pushes me to do my best in basketball and in school.
