Personal Statement

I am excited that with all of the many applications you have reviewed, you found mine. Why me? Well first of all when it comes to commitment and dedication to a common goal, I remain focused. My life has been all about focusing. If this is what you are looking for in a player, then I ask for your consideration. Let me tell you a little about myself. I come from hardworking, goal focused parents, Dorian and Jenny Sibert, who have kept me and my three other siblings, (Olivia, Victoria, and Isabel) grounded in their core beliefs. Those beliefs are in God, Family, Community, and Commitment. These are my core values and beliefs also. My life is always exciting with the six of us. We are a party with feet wherever we go. Being the comedian of the family, I am fun to be around. Playing basketball, the sport I love, is just the icing on the cake. My basketball resume will show that I started playing the game at eight years old. I began to play on the competitive level starting at eleven, and I have played every year since then. When I was younger, because I was the tallest, I played the post position most of the time. Since then, I have played many other positions. I think that makes me versatile. My coaches seems to think this also. I enjoy playing the wing, or shooting guard. My current focus is to train really hard at shooting on the move and attacking the basket. Today, I am in the best shape ever both physically and mentally. I have been working on my fundamentals. I have found that my skills are developing each and every day. Thank you in advance for the opportunity to do what I have loved most of my life.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
