Ever since I was a little girl, I've played basketball. From second grade until fourth grade I would attend all of the Jr. High boys' basketball practices (my dad was the coach). I would be in all of the drills, run all the sprints just because I loved the game. But as I grew older my love for the game has grown immensely. It's not JUST a fun game anymore. The amount of knowledge and hard work that goes into the sport has made my love and respect grow. This has made my aspirations grow as well.
Knowing that I could play what I love in college is an amazing thought. But more importantly, knowing that playing basketball in college could pay for my college education is incredible! I know that my dream can come true. I am extremely hard working. I don't stop something until it is almost perfect. I am very coachable. I listen and learn, because I know there are many things to get better at and every perspective helps. My faith means the world to me, and all the glory goes to the big guy upstairs!
