Personal Statement
I am extremely passionate about basketball. At the age of 12, I was fortunate to be recognized by our varsity head coach. Coach Lilly has allowed me to play varsity for two summers. Our school is 3A and the competition level has truly advanced my personal growth.
I would offer colleges a unique, extremely dedicated, player because:
I am a leader. My teammates recognize my strong work ethic, dedication, and inspirational, very competitive spirit.
I work every single day on my basketball skills. I ensure at minimum 400 shots are up daily combined with ball handling, footwork, agility while continuously training at game speed levels.
My coaches have respected me as much as I respect them. I exhibit the desire to always want better. I am coachable and receptive to them.
As far as a career/major, at 13 years old, I enjoy the aspect of helping other athletes compete in a healthy, safe condition to maximize performance.
