Hello my name is De'Jah Weathersby and I would like to major in something in the area of exercise science or business administration. I am a student first and pride myself on working hard in the classroom. I really would like to take the burden off my parents financially by doing something that I love and making them proud in the process academically. I love to play basketball. I love playing basketball because when you're on the court it clears your mind and you just feel free. I am a student at Rich South high school and trying to get my name out there to college coaches. I plan to receive a scholarship doing something that I love.
I feel that I would fit in anywhere I go because I am a coachable player and I also get along with my teammates well. I'm usually a shooting guard but I can also play point guard. I never like to just worry about my self on the court I like to get my teammates involved because playing one on one ball usually gets you no where.
I am a high honor roll student with a GPA of 3.3/4.0, and I will be taking the ACT exam this academic school year. I would like to go to school within 5-8 hours from home but if I get offered a scholarship that's a little further I am willing to accept the opportunity.
