To me, basketball is about more than just the skill and athleticism that is involved with playing, the game is also about the tenacity and intensity. This is my role as a player on my basketball teams, I am the person who likes to dive for every loose ball and face-guard someone full court so they do not get the ball.
The reason I love basketball is because I can always make something happen for my team such as driving to the basket and drawing the foul or rebounding the ball and dribbling all the way down the court and finding a teammate to dish off the ball to. I love the game of basketball because of the intensity and competitiveness that it brings out of me.
