Personal Statement

I'm Nicole Silvers and I'm in the graduating class of 2015 at Byron High School in Byron, IL. I'm a 5'6" shooting/point guard with good speed, great ball-handling and solid defensive skills. I've very versatile in the guard position, as I've played point guard for my freshman and sophomore years and will be moving back to that position after playing shooting guard my junior year.  I've been playing basketball since Kindergarten on various park district, club and school teams.  I'm a team player at heart. My philosophy is to see that everyone on my team plays her best. My understanding of the game and my ability to see the entire court during the game are my strengths. I set high standards for myself, both on and off the court. My favorite place to be is on the basketball court! My goal is to find a college where I can excel both academically and on the court. I'm thinking about a business major, but not ruling out other areas that interest me.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
