Personal Statement

Being selected to play varsity as a freshman for my high school basketball team was an amazing moment and opportunity for me. Playing at a higher level and with older girls has pushed me to play outside of my comfort zone. I am excited to improve for future seasons with this team. I have been playing basketball since the 3rd grade and playing on an AAU team since 5th grade.  Basketball has been a huge part of my life and has shaped me into the competitive, driven, creative person I am.

In school, I aim to get all assignments done on time. If I'm struggling with a subject, I will go on my own personal time to meet with teachers so I can be the best I can be academically. My personal goal is to play for a college that makes me happy and helps me be successful in the future, athletically and in academics.
