Ciera Tugade-Agasiva '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ciera Agasiva. I am going to be a Junior at Maryknoll High School in Honolulu, Hawai’i.

I started playing organized basketball my Freshman year of High School.  I played football all my life. I was surrounded with family and friends who played football. As it got closer to my Freshman year in High School, I felt like football wasn’t going to do me any good. I decided I wanted to do something different.  So, I joined basketball. I immediately fell in love with the sport. I’m a very competitive and aggressive athlete which makes sports enjoyable for me. I try to get better on and off the court as a student and as an athlete. As a student-athlete, I never let basketball interfere with my academics. 

My goals are to get into a D1 college that I am adaptable with and to play for a team that pushes me to be a better version of myself on and off of the court.
