Desiree Lewis '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Desiree Lewis I'm 16 years old currently a junior at Skyline high school in Oakland. My ultimate goal is to get lots of academic and sports scholarships in track and field to help me get through college. All my life I've been a naturally strong and fast runner and every track meet from the fifth grade until now I've done more than an outstanding job competing for myself and have always benefited my team. Since middle school my teammates and coaches have always judged me based off my looks and positive attitude, but they never would've suspect that I'd be the rising star and the glue that helps stick the entire team together because of how fast I run. Lastly I'm different from others because, track and field is my life and I'm grateful everyday to have the abilities of a great athlete and everyday I aspire to be better!
