Personal Statement

I am 100% dedicated to this sport! Basketball, although not my number one priority, is my number one sport. I am training physically and mentally everyday to become better at this sport. There are many obstacles I still have to face to reach my highest competitive level of basketball. This includes my GPA, my stats, and most importantly a college that meets my athletic and academic needs to fulfill my future goals.

As a freshman in High School, I started on my Junior Varsity team at Hernando High School as Point Guard or Shooting Guard. We had a winning record of 11-7 and I averaged eight points a game. When the Junior Varsity season was over, my coach moved me up to Varsity for the remainder of the season.

As a Sophomore, I transferred to Countryside High School. I have either started or played within two minutes of each game so far this season. I average 6 points a game with a career high of 14 points against Eastlake High School. Our current season record is 14-1 with a district record of 5-0. We are looking to reach the District tournament and the Regional tournament this year.

Ever since I was a young girl, I have always wanted to be a Pediatrician or work in the Medical Pediatric field.  I love children and I would love to arrange missions trips to countries and help sick kids when I get older. To do this, I know I must take rigorous classes that test my ability to retain knowledge. Education is my number one priority, second is my family and my church life. I have always been goal orientated and I have always pursued my passions which is why I have taken this step in pursuing my basketball passion as well.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
