Kendra Parra '23 Recruiting Profile

Basketball had always been something I can lean on. Ever since I can remember, I've always had a ball in my hands.  As a freshman, I feel that I have become a better athlete and person this basketball season.  My 8th grade year was rough as I had a lot of pressure on me because I was the only player who knew the concepts of the sport.

Being a smart and positive player not only makes other people better, but my team better.  I am a very competitive person and hate to lose, so competition thrives in my play.

I have learned that being coachable and having a good work ethic goes a long way in sports and academics.  My goal is to keep moving forward and play at the highest level possible while receiving a life-long education.
