Hello. My name is Aleqse (pronounced Uh-Lex-ee) Hawkins. I am 5'4" and play shooting and point guard for River Valley High School in Yuba City, CA. I am in my Jr season but it is my first year with this school. My freshman year I played Varsity for Cheyenne Central and my sophomore year I played Varsity for Cheyenne East due to moving. Both schools are in Cheyenne, WY. I am currently averaging nearly 16 ppg, 5.6 reb, and 4.9 steals. I have also done well in track.
I am getting a late start to the recruiting process but I am very interested in continuing the sport I love at the next level. Academics are the most important variable though I am, as yet, undecided on a major. I would like to attend a school where I can grow as a student and an athlete. I am open to all divisions of basketball. http://www.advarsitysports.com/articles/hawkins-4253-aleqse-years.html
