Ashley Ng '21 Recruiting Profile

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” is a quote that I hear a lot on the basketball court and in life in general. I really like this quote because to me it means that I have to work hard on everything that I do and that I can’t and shouldn’t give up. My name is Ashley Ng and I attend Terra Nova High School. I am graduating in the class of 2021 and I love playing basketball. I have played basketball since the second grade and it used to only be for recreation. After a lot of training and getting help from my coaches I became the player I am today. I never thought that I would ever be the type of person to play high school basketball or even have the aspirations to play college basketball. This year starting my Freshman year at Terra Nova, I have very high expectations on how I am supposed to play and the player that I am supposed to be. I have always wanted to be the type of person and player that the coach could always count on to be a leader of the team and who can be counted on. I have always had a passion for basketball and to be playing at the level I am today is pretty crazy. I would be so lucky to be able to play at the next level, which is college. Along with playing college basketball I would like to major in Engineering.
