Dru Ishibashi '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'5" senior point guard from Sherman Oaks, CA.  I started every game on the varsity basketball team my freshman, sophomore, junior and senior year.  During my sophomore year, I was named to the Second-Team All Mission League, received the Coaches Award, and was named to two All-Tournament selections.  During my junior year, I was named to the First Team All Mission League, received the Coaches Award, and received two All-Tournament selections. During my senior year, I was named to First Team All-CIF Southern Section, First Team All Mission League, received the Most Valuable Player award, and received three All-Tournament selections.  In addition, I set the single-season assist record for my high school with 170 assists and the all-time assist record at Notre Dame with 486 assists.  I have a 4.3 GPA and am taking all honors and AP classes.

I am looking for a school that will provide the right balance between the classroom and athletics.  I am open to attending college anywhere in the United States or Canada.  I feel I can be an asset wherever I attend college because I work hard and I am a team player.
