Athletics have influenced my life in more ways than one. It has given me the opportunity to better myself as a person, to expose outside character, and has filled my life with inspiration. I have learned that being on a team is where I belong. I believe in dignity, hard work, respect, and character. Athletics have given me the opportunity to not only display these values, but to also have the capabilities to see them in my teammates and peers. 

I'm currently in the last semester of my second year at Butte Community College looking for a chance to move on.  After the end of this current semester, I will have earned an AA in Social Behavioral Sciences. I have played basketball and volleyball for Butte while keeping up on my studies. As volleyball and basketball season overlap, double days were more than frequent. Bouncing between two sets of practices, games, workouts, and weight training, living in the gym has made me not only physically stronger, but mentally as well. I love the game and I'll do anything to be able to grow through the sports that have helped shape my life and to become the best athlete I can be. At Butte, my volleyball team ended up taking the Golden Valley Conference Champion trophy this last season. I earned all conference in both volleyball and basketball this past year as well.
