Hello. I'm Gabriella Alvarado, but you can call me Gabby. I currently play as a center and power forward at Nuview Bridge Early College High School in Nuevo, CA. I am a senior in high school. I have played basketball for three years, track and field for two years, and softball for almost one year. Basketball has become a great passion of mine. I have attended an ELITE basketball camp at UCLA for three days.
My dream career is to become an athletic trainer for the San Antonio Spurs; my options for the future are joining the military, attending my local junior college, or attending a university in Texas or Oregon. My collegiate goals are to become one of the top rebounding players in the NCAA, experience college basketball, and to make myself known.
In everything I do, I give 150%. I strive for greatness and nothing less. I am currently taking a dual credit class, which is Anatomy & Physiology. I am also the captain of the varsity girls basketball team. I just love sports; basketball has changed my life dramatically because it taught me self-motivation, self-confidence, team work, and toughness.
I know that there are girls with more experience than me, but I am willing to do whatever it takes to get where I need to be. Basketball is everything to me; I want to play this game for the rest of my life.
